CoreWork Diagnostics is now available in Texas!

For more than a decade, NCEA has been analyzing student achievement data and researching the practices that distinguish consistently higher performing schools and systems across the country.

Last year NCEA and ACT joined forces to create CoreWork Diagnostics, a unique school improvement resource that brings clarity and focus to improvement planning.

CoreWork Diagnostics is currently available in Texas only. Efforts are underway to provide this useful service to additional states in the coming months. In the meantime, we hope many districts in Texas will take advantage of this opportunity to make CoreWork Diagnostics available to their educators.

CoreWork Diagnostics is a new, research-based, online subscription service for school and district educators, aimed at supporting greater college and career readiness (CCR) success for all students

District and School Leaders Use CoreWork Diagnostics to:

• Elevate expectations from simply meeting minimum state standards to ensuring all students achieve CCR
• Guide every faculty member to ask the most important questions about their students' performance and current educational practices
• Bring organization, clarity, and focus to school and district improvement planning and monitor progress at the district, school, and classroom levels

Features of CoreWork Diagnostics:

CoreWork Diagnostics is an affordable, easily accessible resource that allows educators to assess progress of their students in every tested grade and subject, using CCR targets tied to national ACT benchmarks. Education practice Self-Assessments, based on NCEA’s Core Practice Framework, allow all educators within a system to compare their practices with the educator practices found in higher performing systems.
