Since 2003, the Oklahoma Business and Education Coalition (OBEC); the Oklahoma State Department of Education; and Oklahoma Commission for Education Leadership (OCEL) have provided support and leadership, to Just for the Kids-Oklahoma, driving efforts to improve schools all across the state. Leadership and funding from the Oklahoma business community, including the Bank of Oklahoma, State Farm, Kerr-McGee Corporation and other OBEC Board Members is helping to make this a reality.

Custom Professional Development

The Best Practice Framework provides a powerful tool for combining various district-wide initiatives into a coherent improvement plan. We can design a customized professional development program that ties our JFTK School Services with your other district-wide initiatives. Previous client districts have used this service to provide targeted assistance to schools with significant needs, or in a particular feeder pattern, in order to develop common language and a common lens through which these schools approach their school improvement work.
